These Terms & Conditions apply when you use the Posy&Ink website or place an order with us.
By placing an order through our website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Please read them carefully before completing your purchase.

Posy&Ink is an independent UK business operated as a sole trader, specialising in handmade cards, including personalised and custom-made designs.

2. Our Products
Posy&Ink products are handmade and may include hand-cut, layered, printed, assembled or three-dimensional elements.
We take care to display and describe our products as accurately as possible.
However, because our products are handmade, very small variations in positioning, finish, colour or appearance may occur between individual items.
Colours may also appear slightly different depending on your screen or device settings.
These natural handmade variations do not affect your statutory rights where a product is faulty, damaged or not as described.
3. Personalised & Custom Orders
Many Posy&Ink products can be personalised with details such as:
names;
ages;
dates;
messages;
wording;
colours; or
other requested design details.
You are responsible for checking that all information submitted with your order is accurate.
Please carefully check names, spellings, ages, dates and wording before completing your purchase.
We will normally create personalised items using the information supplied by you at the time of ordering.
Posy&Ink cannot accept responsibility for spelling mistakes or other errors contained in information supplied by the customer.
If we notice something that appears unclear or potentially incorrect, we may contact you before beginning production.
4. Complex Custom Designs
For more detailed bespoke or custom orders, we may need to discuss your requirements with you before or after an order is placed.
A complex custom design may require additional artwork, design work, personalised elements or assembly.
Where necessary, we may contact you using the contact details supplied with your order.
If we are unable to obtain information or approval that is necessary to complete your order, production may be delayed.
5. Prices
All prices shown on our website are displayed in pounds sterling (£ GBP).
The price payable will be the price shown at checkout when your order is placed, together with any applicable delivery charges.
Delivery costs will be displayed before you complete your purchase.
We may change our prices from time to time, but price changes will not normally affect orders that have already been accepted.
6. Placing an Order
When you place an order through our website, you are offering to purchase the product or products shown in your basket.
Please check your order carefully before submitting it.
You will normally receive an electronic confirmation after your order has been placed.
We reserve the right to contact you if we need further information in order to complete your order.
7. Acceptance of Orders
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where there is a reasonable reason to do so.
For example, this may include situations where:
a product is unavailable;
there is an obvious pricing or website error;
we are unable to obtain the information required to complete a personalised order;
a requested customisation is not reasonably possible;
an order contains inappropriate or unlawful content; or
we are otherwise unable to fulfil the order.
If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, any amount due back to you will be refunded.

Payment must be made through the payment options available at checkout.
Payments are processed securely through the payment services connected to our Squarespace website.
Your payment provider may have its own terms and privacy policy.
We do not normally receive or store your full debit or credit card details.
9. Production Times
Posy&Ink operates Monday to Friday.
Production times are calculated in working days and do not include Saturdays, Sundays or UK bank holidays.
Simple personalised orders
Orders requiring straightforward personalisation, such as adding a name, age or simple wording, normally require up to:
2 working days
before dispatch.
Complex custom orders
More detailed bespoke or custom designs normally require:
2–4 working days
before dispatch.
These times refer to production only and do not include postal delivery time.
If we need additional information from you before making your order, production may begin once that information has been received.
10. Delivery
Our standard delivery service is Royal Mail 2nd Class.
Where available, customers may choose Royal Mail 1st Class at checkout.
Selecting 1st Class postage affects the postal service only and does not shorten the time required to make a handmade or personalised card.
Postal delivery times are estimates and cannot always be guaranteed.

11. Delivery Dates
If you are ordering for a birthday, wedding, anniversary or other specific occasion, please allow sufficient time for both production and delivery.
Unless we specifically agree otherwise, estimated delivery dates are not guaranteed.
We cannot guarantee that Royal Mail will deliver an order on a particular date simply because 1st Class postage has been selected.
12. Delivery Addresses
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
Please check your address before submitting your order.

13. Cancellation & Change-of-Mind Returns
Your cancellation and return rights depend on the type of product purchased.
Standard, non-personalised products may be eligible for cancellation and return under UK consumer law.
Personalised and custom-made products are generally excluded from the normal change-of-mind cancellation right once work has begun because they are made specifically for you.
This does not affect your statutory rights where a product is faulty, damaged or not as described.

14. Changes to Personalised Orders
If you need to change information submitted with a personalised order, please contact us immediately at:
We will make reasonable efforts to amend your order if production has not yet begun.
Once production has started, it may not be possible to make changes.
Additional charges may apply if significant work needs to be recreated because the customer has requested a change after production has begun. If this applies, we will discuss this with you before carrying out the additional work.
15. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products
Products supplied by Posy&Ink must meet the standards required by UK consumer law.
They must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for their intended purpose.

16. Handmade Nature of Our Products
Our cards are individually handmade.
Small differences in handmade elements, positioning or finish may therefore occur.
These variations are part of the handmade nature of the product and are not necessarily defects.
However, nothing in this section limits your rights where a product is faulty, damaged, unsafe or materially different from its description.
17. Product Images
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product photographs accurately represent our products.
However, colours may vary slightly because of:
screen settings;
lighting;
photography;
printing processes; and
natural variations in materials.
Where a product is individually handmade, there may also be minor differences between the item shown in photographs and the item you receive.
18. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the Posy&Ink name, branding, product designs, illustrations, photographs, artwork, written content and other original material appearing on this website belong to Posy&Ink or are used with appropriate permission.
They may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, sold or used commercially without permission.
Purchasing a Posy&Ink product does not transfer ownership of the underlying artwork or design rights to the customer.
19. Website Content
We aim to keep information on our website accurate and up to date.
We may update product descriptions, availability, prices, photographs and other website content from time to time.
We are not responsible for temporary website interruptions or technical issues outside our reasonable control.
20. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control
Occasionally, circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect production or delivery.
Examples may include postal disruption, severe weather, technical failures, supplier disruption or other unexpected events.
If this happens, we will take reasonable steps to minimise the effect on your order and communicate with you where appropriate.
Nothing in this section removes any rights you have under UK consumer law.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
This includes your statutory rights relating to faulty, misdescribed or otherwise non-conforming goods.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to unfairly restrict your legal rights as a consumer.
